Made By Fellows celebrates the people whose knowledge, skill, patience and generosity have made a lasting difference in the lives of others.
You don’t need a degree. You don’t need a title. You need to have made a difference.
What is a Made By: Fellow?
A Made By Fellow is someone whose knowledge has stayed with others.
They may be a family member, neighbour, teacher, mentor, artist, farmer, tradesperson, business owner, community volunteer—or simply the person who knew how to do something and cared enough to pass it along.
This is not recognition for having the longest résumé, the most credentials or the loudest public profile. It is about the quieter ways people shape lives: by teaching, encouraging, demonstrating, preserving and sharing what they know.
More than an award.
Made By Fellows is intended to preserve the reason someone mattered—not simply add their name to a list.
Each Fellow’s story will be recorded and shared through Made By, recognizing what they knew, how they passed it along and the difference it made. Fellows will also be brought together through a public celebration of knowledge, generosity and community legacy.
Over time, their stories will create a growing record of the people who have helped knowledge continue moving between generations.

Public nominations for the inaugural Made By Fellows will open in spring 2027.
We will invite you to tell us about someone who taught you something worth remembering: what they shared, how they shared it and why it made a difference. Nomination details and eligibility information will be available here before nominations open.
The inaugural Made By Fellows will be announced and celebrated in April 2028.
