A contribution can be a story, a skill, an object, an idea, a connection, a few hours of your time or practical support that helps the museum take shape.
However you choose to become involved, you can help build a museum rooted in the knowledge, creativity and generosity of its community.
Share knowledge and stories
Share a memory, skill, photograph, family story or lived experience that could inform our research, exhibitions, oral histories and community programs.
Offer objects and materials
Tell us about an object, photograph, document or other material that may belong in Made By’s collections. Every offer will be considered carefully against our collecting mandate, capacity and long-term responsibilities.
Volunteer
Contribute your time, knowledge and talents through research, events, exhibitions, programs, visitor welcome, behind-the-scenes work and many other forms of participation.
Collaborate and partner
Work with us to develop an exhibition, program, workshop, research project or community initiative. We welcome conversations with makers, educators, organizations, businesses and community groups.
Support the museum
Help Made By take shape through financial gifts, sponsorship, equipment, materials, professional services or other in-kind support matched to the museum’s emerging needs.
Help fulfil a need
Our future wish list will identify specific tools, furnishings, supplies and equipment the museum needs, giving supporters a practical way to help build the spaces and programs they care about.
